確かにtumblrは便利なのだけど、面白くて新しい情報を常に追い続けるというのは、相当の労力が必要だ。
自分が面白いと感じた記事に反応がなかったときの虚脱感と戦い、その逆に無上の喜びを覚える。それを毎日続けていくのだから。 すでに多くの経験と実績を持っているこのようなまとめサイトがある以上、日本においてtumblrがその壁を越えていくのは難しいのではないだろうか。
少なくとも、まとめサイトの管理人たちは「RSS」という技術には今のところ圧勝している。多くの人は、自分の好きなサイトをRSSに登録するよりも、信頼する管理人のまとめサイトを「お気に入り」にいれているのだ。
